  Account Compromised: My High Yield Online Savings Account Is No More Banks & Credit Cards | (0)

  On Friday, January 23 I was informed by my bank that my online savings account had been compromised.  Apparently, on January 20 there were log ins from two different locations and this triggered a fraud protection mechanism that my bank has in place to ensure that my money is secure and baddies cannot get access to my funds.   2008 has been a pretty good year for me and my family.  We haven't had any major financial problems, despite the complete failure of one of our vehicles and our decision to have my wife stop working to stay at home with our son.   Our Chase Credit Card Reward Pay Out Banks & Credit Cards | (0)

  This week I received a $250 check from my credit card company after redeeming $200 worth of the rewards the wife and I had accumulated since we received our card in September 2007. I got $250 even though I only redeemed $200 because Chase bets it can entice enough individuals to try and wait until they have accumulated $200 but end up never actually redeeming their rewards.
